The kindergarten music program focuses on 

exploration, integration and enjoyment.

Kindergarten students will:

• Develop and distinguish between the four voices: singing, speaking, whisper and shouting.

• Differentiate between comparatives such as high/low, loud/soft, fast/slow, smooth/choppy and beat/rhythm.

• Sing age appropriate songs from memory.

• Play singing games from cultures around the world.

• Use a variety of percussion instruments such as drums, shakers and xylophones.
